VAGILANT

VAGILANT is a short documentary film directed and produced by Mari and Andrea Weeks. A portrait of a female artist and activist who was inspired by the political climate to invent a feminist superhero, the film is both a snapshot of a unique moment in history and a bold and inspiring look at what it means to be a woman and an activist today. The Women's March on Washington only took place once, but what happens afterwards?

Shot by female DP's in the weeks leading up to the Women's March on Washington and at the march itself on January 21, 2017, VAGILANT was also edited, color corrected and scored by women.
